How can I find suitable images?

The images in our database are grouped by categories and can be viewed by mouse-click. Moreover, all photograph selections are presented according to established agricultural criteria. Just input a suitable keyword into the search box.
Single photos can be easily retrieved by using picture name (e.g. slurry maize 21) or picture ID (e.g. 19350).

In order to find your favoured pictures efficiently, you can narrow your search.

Conjunction: the input of two or more keywords into the search box restricts the suitable match, and hence, improves the search result. Keywords must be separated either by blank or one of the following characters/words: and, +, &
Examples:
maize seed fendt
biogas + plant + maize
biodiesel + tank

Disjunction: by linking key words with "or" the search result can be extended.
Examples:
landscape or meadow
apples or pears
antibiotics or veterinary

Picture quality and resolution of agrarfoto.com pictures?

• All photos can be downloaded in printing quality (minimum 18*13 cm at 300 dpi resolution) from the agrarfoto.com image bank (format jpg).
• Images with ID exeeding 10.700 can be sent to you at higher resolution by e-mail (if this higher quality is not yet available in the database).
• Apart from the high-resolution photos which are liable to fees, you can also use our free of charge 72 dpi images.

Costs and fees of agrarfoto.com images?

The use of agrarfoto.com images is subject to fees. Our photo charges are comparable with prices found in similar publishing businesses. Non-editorial fees depend on purpose, image size and circulation. Please contact agrarfoto.com to obtain further and more precise information regarding this issue (office@agrarfoto.com).

We charge customers for all picture downloads in 300 dpi printing quality. However, we will not charge you for unused images if you duly inform us via e-mail.

How does the image download work?

For registered users, there are two ways of downloading agrarfoto.com images:

• Direct Download - download of single pictures:
  After the entry of registration data "username" and "password", single photos can be downloaded at 72 dpi or 300 dpi quality and subsequently saved on hard disk.
• Download from the cart - simultaneous download of several pictures:
  Several images can be downloaded from the cart at the same time. For this purpose, select favoured pictures and define image quality (72 dpi/300 dpi). Photo download as zip-file.
• Download statistics:
  Check your personal downloads by calling up the "download-statistics" report (located in the cart).

Registration for photo download

In order to download images from our image bank you must register with agrarfoto.com. This registration is free of charge and does not oblige you to buy any images.
